5/24/2017 Remain Where You’re Planted

I have set you in a specific place at a specific time for a specific purpose. Stay where I have planted you, for a tree continually uprooted and transplanted will never develop deep enough roots to mature and grow into its fullness.  Yes, there are seasons of transition and change that you do not like when all seems barren and dry, but all of it is necessary for you to grow in maturity and develop layers of protection from outside pests.  It takes a tree firmly planted with deep roots and a thick trunk to bear the changing times, hold the weight of maturing fruit, and shade those at rest. Learn to flourish where I have placed you, and in time transform the landscape around you.  Ps. 1:1-3, “How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don’t stand on the way of sinners or sit where scoffers sit!  Their delight is in the LORD’s law; on His law they meditate day and night.  They are like trees planted by streams – they bear their fruit in season, their leaves never wither, everything they do succeeds.”
