11/16/2017 Daily Word

There is a joy in living that is found only in Me.  In a world full of chaos and confusion, you can take joy in your daily life despite the difficult situations that you may encounter.  Joy can be found in the smile of another, the laughter of your child, the beauty of a sunset.  Joy is not the absence of trials or even of sorrow, but a conscious decision to rejoice in the blessings I’ve bestowed in the moment, even when all around seems falling apart. It can thrive in trials and tribulation and cause your desert place to bloom.  Choose to walk in My joy and you will find it is a refuge and stronghold for you; a place where you can comfortably rest.  Ps. 5:11, “But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.  Spread your protection over them, that those who love Your Name may rejoice in You.”

  1. I would like to know more about your church. Do you lay hands on prayer. Has anyone one been slain in the Holy Spirit? Has anyone been filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues? This is where I am seeking to be. Where the Holy Spirit moves deeply. I am seeking Yeshua…

    1. Dear Noreen,
We are a growing Spirit-filled congregation, the majority of whom speak in tongues. We have had instances of people being slain in the Spirit, however our focus is having a Spirit-led service in whatever capacity He seeks to move. Sometimes it is with a word of wisdom or knowledge, at other times with a message in tongues and the interpretation. If you are looking for a congregation who seeks the Lord Yeshua, then we are that, and we invite you to come join us. We are a down-to-earth, family oriented group of people who love Jesus. Adult Sunday School is at 8:30 am, with a choice of Foundations or the Book of Revelation. Pastor Walter is currently speaking on The Weapons of Warfare in the 10 am service.

      1. Thank you for the positive response. I will see if I could make it there this Sunday for service. Sounds like somewhere I’d like to visit and see if the Holy Spirit moves me in your direction.
