12/15/2017 Daily Word – Transformation

Transformation – this is what I desire for My people, My church. Some transformation is spontaneous, but most is a process of change that occurs over time. The caterpillar doesn’t become a butterfly because it has been forced to, but because it is a natural process that I created into its life cycle.  I have designed you, My child, to undergo transformation and be an agent of it in the earth.  Right now you feel trapped in a cocoon from which you desperately long to break free.  Don’t despair, for in time you will break free to fly, and the world will wonder at the beauty that is you. Embrace the death of all that is flesh, the cocoon of your cross, that you may rise to the resurrecting life found only in My Spirit. 2 Tim. 1:9-10, “He has saved us and called us to a holy life – not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

12/14/2017 Daily Word – Keep Shining!

Keep shining! Those that walk in darkness have seen a great light! At some point, all men are confronted by My light, and it is not if they see it, but what their response will be when they do. Some will embrace the light, and it will be for them as returning to the warm embers of the home fire for which they were desperately longing and didn’t realize it. Many will turn and flee back into the darkness, unwilling to have exposed the degradation that has become a part of their life, not realizing that My love dwells within the light.  Your responsibility is not their decision, but to carry the light of My love to them. Do not fear, for the darkness cannot overcome the light. Join with those that are like-minded – it can get incredibly bright when many lights become one. Allow My Spirit to fan the flame of your fire, and go illuminate your world, My child! Matt. 5:14-16, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

12/13/2017 Daily Word – I’m in Your Moments

I am here.  In this moment, as in all of your previous ones, I am present.  I have never been absent.  The world can be a powerful distraction from My still small voice, from the gentle stirrings of My Spirit in your life. Choose to listen even in the noise. There is nothing that clamors for your attention that cannot be silenced when you intentionally bend your ear to hear from Me, and as you regularly do so, you will find you’ve grown accustomed to My voice and can discern it quickly and easily even in the chaotic, recognizing Me in your every moment.  I Kings 19:11b-12, “Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.”

12/12/2017 Daily Word – My Silence, My Smile

My silence does not equate to displeasure. Sometimes My silence reveals My smile. Just as you grow into comfortable silences with those closest to you, so too, you must grow to relax in Mine. There are uneasy silences, but just as often there are those silences in which the joy of simply being together permeates the atmosphere, bringing tranquility of mind and unity of purpose that renews and revives the spirit.  Have faith in My faithfulness, and understand that both My shout and My silence are indicative of My love. Zeph. 3:17, “ADONAI your God is right there with you, as a Mighty Savior. He will rejoice over you and be glad, He will be silent in His love, He will shout over you with joy.” (CJB)

12/11/2017 Daily Word – Go in Peace!

I have not closed My ear to you.  I hear the cry of your heart.  I desire that you, too, would hear Mine for you.  My hand is moving in response to your faith, whether you see it or not. See the joy in living and go forth in peace! Allow My peace to guard your heart and mind as you go, trusting in My goodness, resting in My faithfulness.  It has never been My will that confusion rule your life. Choose to walk in peace, even as you walk in faith. This is My desire and gift to you. You, however, must choose it.  Luke 7:50, “Jesus said to the woman, ‘Your faith has saved you; go in peace.'”

12/8/2017 Daily Word

Do not be concerned that you have only received partial revelation into the direction of your life.  If I revealed everything at once, you couldn’t comprehend it. Step out in what you know for a certainty is My revealed will for today, and as you go your path will be illuminated by My Spirit.  You don’t need to know what is miles down the road to move forward. In fact, it could divert your attention from what you should be seeing and learning in the now. Live your life in the present.  Today is My gift to you – enjoy it! Matt. 6:33, “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

12/7/2017 Daily Word

As you go, look around you. There are people in need, waiting to be seen and recognized. So often only a need is identified and met, and the people remain nameless and faceless. I want you to see those souls that are made in My image, who are also on the verge of eternity, and when you do, touch them. The world is made up of people who need a touch from Me. Learn to embrace them, and in so doing acknowledge their significance. Let your touch be like Mine – one of healing from the brokenness that is their world, enabling them to serve Me, for so you were once touched. Matt. 8:14-15, “When Jesus came into Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on Him.”

12/6/2017 Daily Word

By the time of My advent, I was unexpected by the majority of the masses. To some My arrival was reason to rejoice, to others a stumbling block to navigate around. So it is with the unexpected – it disrupts the norm and can cause your heart to leap with joy or drop in despair. Everyone faces the unexpected, and it My desire that when you do, peace accompany it.  When confronted with the unexpected, you can either worship or cower in fear. Peace is found in choosing to position yourself to worship. Peace brings assurance that I already anticipated the unexpected, prepared a way for you in and through it, and determined that it should work toward your good to bring the Father glory. Make the choice to walk in peace through the unexpected, My child. I’m on the scene. Luke 2:14, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests.”

12/5/2017 Daily Word

“Father, forgive them” – three of the hardest words to utter, but you must.  There are hurts, frustrations, and misunderstandings that still linger within your heart. Some were inflicted intentionally; most of them not.  Even as I cried out in My deepest pain for the Father to forgive because they lacked knowledge, so you, too, must cry out in the midst of your own hurt, asking for the forgiveness of those who’ve caused you pain. Even though I prayed for them, they divided My raiment. Even then they were unsuccessful in separating Me from My identity or purpose. Forgiveness effectively puts to death the enemy’s attempt to bury you in your pain and paves the way for a glorious resurrection of freedom and release in yourself. My child, forgive it all, for your own sake, refusing to allow them to part you from your identity in Me. Truly, they know not what they’ve done. Luke 23:34, “Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.’ And they divided up His clothes by casting lots.”

12/4/2017 Daily Word

You are not meant to bow to your circumstances, I have called you to overcome.  Don’t bend before your situation, rise above it to approach My throne and courageously releases your cares, concerns, and circumstances to Me, then wait and stand confidently in My triumph.  If you are weary of being shaken by the cares of this life, stand in My victory.  If you will remain in Me, you will stand firm and immovable – a testimony of My sustaining life and power, while crooked paths straighten, insurmountable walls crumble, and dire situations dissolve at My Word. I Cor. 15:57-58a, “But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you.”
