2/14/2018 Tumultuous Waters

Before you were, I AM. I am the God that stands with you in the storm, that brings you out of the storm, and the One who calms the storm. Your focus should not be the storm and survival, but rather on Me. I may not be where you expected, but I am never far off and am infinitely close; a call of help, an arm’s reach away. You were not meant to face life’s difficulties alone, but to embrace life in all its facets knowing that I am with you always. Let us walk the tumultuous waters together and get to the other side. I assure you, there is another side. Matt. 14:26-32, “When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I. Do not be afraid.”  Peter said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come.” …But seeing the wind, he [Peter] became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” When they got into the boat, the wind stopped.” NASB
