10/23/2018 Wisdom in Your Pace

You live in time. You alone can set the pace of your life. Be careful to set it so as to complete the race victoriously. You cannot push yourself to the limit all the time. If you will heed the voice of My Spirit, you will know when to accelerate and when to decelerate. You will know when to rest and when to rise and run – both should be done purposefully. I am not a harsh taskmaster that requires My Children to work at a feverish level, leaving them worn and unable to enjoy the benefits of My Kingdom. Set your pace that you may enjoy others who are running alongside you. Teach those younger than yourself the importance of relationship and rest. You will enjoy your journey more if you will trust Me and use wisdom in your pace. I Cor. 9:24-27, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it for a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” NKJV
