7/12/2019 Feeling Suffocated?

Some are feeling like their lives and ministries are suffocating. It’s as though there is a death grip that has taken hold and is squeezing every ounce of life out of you, causing you to hold your breath and wait for your spiritual lungs to collapse. It may even be manifesting itself physically and emotionally in panic attacks and increased anxiety, even hopelessness and despair. The strategy behind this attack is to prevent the Word from being sown by attacking the sower. If the enemy can strike the shepherd, the sheep will scatter (Mark 14:26). This foul spirit of python has no authority in the life of a believer and must let go!

The Commander of the LORD’s Army has come to bring about a mighty deliverance. He is the Word and will arise within you, flexing His muscle breaking the grip of the enemy (Ps. 68:1, 2 Cor. 10:3-6).  Instead of holding your breath, choose to inhale of the Spirit and let your exhale be one of praise and worship. The enemy’s intends to kill, steal, and destroy, but the Word has come to bring life (John 10:10)! Release the Word of the LORD boldly and without fear. Remember, you are a proclaimer of God’s Word, which He watches over to perform and He will not allow it to return void (Jer.1:12, Is. 55:11).

If you are a member of a congregation, pray for your pastors and for all those that preach the Word, that the Word of God will dwell richly in them (Col. 3:16) and that they will proclaim it in its entirety with boldness, clarity, and power (Eph. 6:19). Pray, too, that your ears will be open to hearing what the Lord is speaking. You cannot afford to only accept a portion of the Word, you must be willing to hear the ENTIRE truth and counsel of God.

Ps. 138:7-8, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the work of Your hands.” NKJV
