8/21/2019 Fashioned for the Finish

Persistence is required if you are to finish your race well. This is a long-distance race that takes you through desert places as well as the valley. If you are to complete this marathon, you must not only learn to pace yourself but to cast away all thoughts of quitting, whether in the dry place or camping in the serene. Think about what is true and of good report. I will lead you through to victory if you choose to persist even in the face of adversity. Remember that I am with you through it all, and I determined this race for you alone. I have trained you and given you the endurance necessary, for you’ve been fashioned for the finish, being made in the likeness of My image. Do you hear Me cheering you on to triumph? You started well, now continue towards the finish – that is what matters in the end – that you complete your race. Heb. 12:1-2, “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

8/20/2019 For the Fence Sitters

You have yet to make a final choice for Me. Instead, you vacillate between your fleshly desires and the abundance of life I would give you. You stand far from Me, seeking My hand, but go your way and never stop long enough to give Me glory, when I, in My mercy, respond to your requests. Do you not realize I am more than just the answer to your need? I am your salvation; the One who redeems your life from destruction. Allow Me to meet not only your physical needs but your spiritual ones, as well. Do not stand at a distance. If you draw close to Me, I will draw close to you. Seek Me while I may be found. Now is the time of decision for the chasm between us is growing, and the fence you sit on opposes Me. Luke 17:11-19, “On his way to Yerushalayim [Jerusalem], Yeshua passed along the border country between Shomron [Samaria] and Galil. As he entered one of the villages, ten men afflicted with tzara’at [leprosy] met him. They stood at a distance and called out, ‘Yeshua! Rabbi! Have pity on us!’ On seeing them, he said, ‘Go and let the cohanim [priests] examine you!’ And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, as soon as he noticed that he had been healed, returned shouting praises to God, and fell on his face at Yeshua’s feet to thank him. Now he was from Shomron [Samaria]. Yeshua said, ‘Weren’t ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Was no one found coming back to give glory to God except this foreigner?’ And to the man from Shomron He said, ‘Get up, you may go; your trust has saved you.’ CJB Is. 55:6-7, “Seek ADONAI while He is available, call on Him while He is still nearby. Let the wicked person abandon his way and the evil person his thoughts; let him return to ADONAI, and he will have mercy on him; let him return to our God, for he will freely forgive.” CJB James 4:8-10, “Come close to God and He will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded people! Wail, mourn, sob! Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy into gloom! Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” CJB

8/19/2019 Rest Amid the Prowling

My child, I am still delivering my people from the dens of lions. My willingness and ability are not in question. You, though, must learn to rest amid the prowling, trusting that I have set a divine boundary between you and that which seeks to consume you. Things are happening within the supernatural realm that you cannot see, and the lions have awakened and are hungry. If you are a target, it is because the light in you has drawn their attention. Don’t run or turn your back on them. Hold your ground, for I am Lord of the lions and they, too, must bow their knee to Me. Don’t become agitated; remain at peace. Morning is about to dawn, and your deliverance is at hand. Dan. 6:19-23, “Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, ‘Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?’ Then Daniel said to the king, ‘O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.’ Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God.” NKJV

8/16/2019 Your Buffer; Your Defense

A tender heart is an object of the enemy’s attack. You have been struggling with thoughts and beliefs about yourself that are incompatible with the truth. Do not fear, My child. I am your buffer, your defense. I will stay the hand of the enemy that seeks to destroy the preciousness of your person and your identity in Me. Come. Let Me erase the distorted image in your mind and show you who you are from My perspective, setting you free from the chains that have held you captive for too long. You were never meant to live a lie but in the glorious reality of who I destined you to be. You are brave; you are beautiful; you are Mine! Jer. 17:14, “Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.” NKJV Ps. 18:1b-3, “I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” NKJV Ps. 118:14-16, “The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly. The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.” NKJV

8/15/2019 Reconnect to Me

Tired? Return to the place of your refreshment, the source of your strength. Life done outside of Me brings a slow withering away that turns you brittle. Return and reconnect to Me that I may revive you and fortify your roots. If you stay in fellowship with Me and with others who are connected to Me, you will find that you thrive in your place – a place of My choosing and design that will keep you in safety and bring refreshment. It is here that you will bear the fruit you’ve sought because you choose to abide in Me. John 15:4-5, “Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.” NKJV Jer. 17:7-8, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” NKJV

8/14/2019 Healing of the Waters

Many are praying for life to spring forth in a place where the water is contaminated, and the ground bears no fruit. I have heard your prayers and will bring healing to the water that My people may drink and bring refreshment to others and that fruitfulness may once again be seen in the land. Do not suppose that I will allow malignancy to thrive in the water. No, I will purify it and see it healed that life may come forth out of the dead places, and not only will you see it, but you will also participate in it. What was dry and brittle will be revived to thrive according to My Word. 2 Kings 2:19-22, “The men of the city said to Elisha, ‘Please notice, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the ground barren.’ And he said, ‘Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.’ So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, ‘Thus says the Lord: I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’ So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.” NKJV

8/13/2019 Two Choices – Choose Wisely

You have two choices – acknowledge I am God and that I am right, and repent of your sin, or to invalidate My plan in yourself by refusing to repent. So many desire the baptism of fire while rejecting the baptism of repentance, which must come first. Humility and a bowing of the knee to My person always precedes authentic spiritual authority. What did you think? That you could operate in My power while setting yourself above Me in every other way? My child, walk carefully. For such a gospel exists and is even now being preached. Don’t annul the redemptive work I did on your behalf through My crucifixion and resurrection by such presumption. My love took Me to the cross for you, and it is My love that warns you now. It is to those who seek My kingdom above their own that all will be added. It is yours to choose – do so wisely. Will you bow your knee in brokenness or lift your chin in defiance? Luke 7:29-30, “And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.” NKJV Rom. 6:1-6, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.” NKJV Phil. 3:8-11, “Yes, indeed, I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law,  but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness that is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.” NKJV

8/12/2019 Where is God?

Many are losing faith, questioning My character and nature because of their circumstances. They ask, “Where are you?” My child, I am where I have always been – right beside you. Though your spirit may fail, Mine does not and is present to strengthen and uphold you. My dear one, you must release your desire to fix it all, and leave it with Me. Your hand, when operating in the flesh, does more damage than good. You must learn to walk and function according to My Spirit. Wallowing in self-pity has never been profitable to any man. Amid the pain, praise; amid your woes, worship, for I am Immanuel, God with you – through everything at every time, and I AM Mighty-to-Save! Ps. 77:2-15, “I cry aloud to God, aloud to God; and He hears me. On the day of my distress I am seeking Adonai; my hands are lifted up; my tears flow all night without ceasing; my heart refuses comfort. When remembering God, I moan; when I ponder, my spirit fails. You hold my eyelids [and keep me from sleeping]; I am too troubled to speak. I think about the days of old, the years of long ago; in the night I remember my song, I commune with myself, my spirit inquires: ‘Will Adonai reject forever? Will He never show His favor again? Has His grace permanently disappeared? Is His word to all generations done away? Has God forgotten to be compassionate? Has He in anger withheld His mercy?’ Then I add, ‘That’s my weakness – [supposing] the Most High’s right hand could change.’ So I will remind myself of Yah’s doings; yes, I will remember Your wonders of old. I will meditate on Your work and think about what You have done. God, Your way is holiness, What God is as great as God? You are the God who does wonders, You revealed Your strength to the peoples. With Your arm You redeemed Your people, the descendants of Ya-akov and Yosef.” CJB

8/8/2019 Restoration of Vision & Strength

My children are becoming weary – physically, spiritually, some even mentally. This weariness is accompanied by a desire to lay down and quit, retreating from the battle they are waging. There is a fogginess that has descended, blinding many to what is right in front of them. My child, there is a cost in the form of a cross associated with those of My kingdom. Stand firm and anoint yourselves with eye salve from Me that you may see. I will restore vision and strength; however, if you move in the state you are currently in missteps will occur that can further damage what I created to thrive. Be patient and wait upon Me. I am the God that speaks light in the darkness, restores sight to the blind, and commands the lame to walk. You will take the land on which you walk with a decided victory if you will listen to My voice and not relinquish My Word, allowing My Spirit to lead you in the direction you should go. Be encouraged. I have commanded the fog to lift, supernatural strength to flourish, and advance where all seemed lost.  Gal. 6:9, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” NKJV Rev. 3:18, “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich, and white garments that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.” NKJV 2 Sam. 23:9-10, “And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The LORD brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder.” NKJV

8/7/2019 A New Chapter

I have declared that this chapter of your life is closing. It is not the end of your story, but the beginning of a new phase and everything that has occurred before has set you up for this moment. Do not look back to the former things, instead press forward. Every ending is a new beginning in Me, full of hope and promise. You have yet to reach your climax in Me. If you allow Me to write upon your heart rather than directing your own story, it will result in something beautiful and edifying, and you will have joy in this journey. However, you must walk according to the Spirit and in obedience to Me despite what your flesh dictates. Many have been fighting what I would compose in their lives, purposefully choosing a storyline I have not written because they lack My wisdom, not having sought it. Am I not the Beginning and the End, able to see the first from the last? My child, refuse to lean on your own understanding and trust Me. Faith is the hallmark characteristic of every overcomer! Is. 43:19, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” NKJV Prov. 3:5-8, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.” NKJV
