“For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life.”
God love you! He really does! He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for you. The heart represents God’s love, the drops of blood represent those Jesus shed for you. If you have never received God’s free gift, please continue reading. We’d like to tell you more.
There is a holy God, who created you in His image, who loves you very much!
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, Who was, and is, and is to come.”
“So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them…”
and we SINNED!
The truth is that our sin, whether it’s something we do, say, or think, separates us Him. His holiness cannot be in the presence of sin. And we have all sinned no matter how good we think we are compared to the next guy.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Our sin deserves something. It deserves death. Eternal separation from our Father. But there is GOOD NEWS! He has given us a gift – free to you and me.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
But God still loved us and still had a plan – our free gift would cost Him everything. He thought we were worth it.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
What do you need to do to receive this free gift, you may ask? Well, like any other gift, receive it, open it, make use of it. Trust that Jesus paid the penalty for your sin. He wiped the debt away.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.”
I Corinthians 15:3-4
“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”
