My child, just as you seek to see life from My perspective, seek to see yourself from My perspective. I am grieved that you limit yourself in such a way. You are so much more, dear one. What you see as lacking in yourself, I declare whole, and what you see as weakness, I declare to be strong. You are condemning yourself when I have accepted you. Quit trying to perfect yourself – I alone can perfect that which concerns you. Don’t second guess the nature and wisdom of My love and My call for and upon you. It’s been there all along. Learn to enjoy who I’ve made you to be. I certainly do! Eph. 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” NKJV
This is the vision: There was an exceptionally dry, cracked desert place, and in that desert place were servants who had sacks of seed who had intentionally planted in the desert – not haphazardly, but with precision. They had sown and brought what water they could but were sitting down wondering if they were crazy to plant there because when strong desert winds came, the seeds were uncovered and blown away, and the servants would need to start over. They were frustrated, ready to quit. Amid all this, there was a sound and a flow of water began. It came, gently at first, saturating the ground, pushing the seed to further depths where it would not be swept away as the water passed through. It was not a slow flow of water, but it was a steady flow like it knew exactly where to go and in what amount to bring forth life. As the water passed through it created streams in this wilderness place for the servants and they stood watching as a harvest began to break through what had just moments ago been parched ground. Soon there was an abundance of life, an abundance of wheat ready to be harvested. What had been a barren wasteland had in what seemed like moments become fertile again.
There are people in difficult places that have been placed there by the Lord for a purpose – places He intends to harvest, places where harvest has been frustrated and almost non-existent. God wants you to realize that your efforts have not been in vain. A supernatural flow of the Spirit is about to be released into those areas. You’ve been faithful, and the time of breakthrough is coming. You will see the seeds you’ve planted break out of parched soil. There will be life, for the Word of the Lord has declared it so.
Today, I come into agreement with the Lord and declare over you by the Holy Spirit, strength and encouragement. I declare that you won’t shrivel in the desert but will stand and see the Word of the Lord spoken come to pass. No longer will frustration reign, but the shalom peace of God will be yours, granting you rest.
Is. 41:17-20, “The poor and needy seek water, but there is none; their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land a springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, they myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress and the pine and the box tree together, that they may see and know, and consider and understand together, that the hand of the LORD has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.” NKJV
You have an inheritance in Me that sin seeks to rule over. I am not the only One to knock upon the door of your heart, seeking entrance. Be discerning, for Cain was cast from My presence because he did not heed My warning that sin was crouching at his door. The very thing he professed to desire – My acceptance of his offering – he did not receive, and he lost the inheritance of My presence in his life, having given place to sin. Your inheritance is one of godly wisdom and counsel; an inheritance of righteousness before Me, both imperishable and undefiled. Refuse to grant entrance to that which would rob you of your inheritance in Me, abandoning you to inherit the wind. Ps. 125:3, “For the scepter of wickedness will not rule the inheritance of the righteous, so that the righteous will not themselves turn their hands to evil.” CJB
It is only according to My Word that it will be unto you. Recognize My Child, that I do not answer that which does not align with My Word. It is pure, perfect, and always has your best interests at heart. My promises agree with My Word, I guide you with My Word, and I only give life according to My Word. Observe and put your hope in it, for it is firmly established in heaven, unshakeable. Those who embrace it will not be moved! With My Word I purify and refine, and to reject it is to refuse My work in your life. My Word is truth and will not leave you hanging, but will be successful in all that I have sent it to do in your life. Hold fast to it, My Child; it is life! Ps. 119:160, “The main thing about Your Word is that it’s true; and all your just rulings last forever.” CJB
You cannot slay giants in armor untested, made and motivated by the flesh. Progress can be impeded when you are improperly clothed for battle. Like David, you must refuse to adorn yourself with such and step out arrayed in My armor with faith, wielding My word. Do not fear! I am God and cannot be vanquished on the word of a worm. Put aside all that would encumber you and weigh you down. I have already declared victory over your giants. Now go forward in My Name declaring it, and step forward in triumph! I Sam. 17:39, “David fastened his sword to his armor and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. And David said to Saul, ‘I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them.’ So David took them off.” NKJV
Do not waste your desert experience. The beauty of being in the desert is that it quickly brings your priorities to the surface, one of which is water. Seek the living water that flows from My throne, which I alone can give. The other is direction: one leads you further into the desert, the other will lead you out of it. If you will silence the grumblings of your heart and listen, you will hear My voice. Take the time to develop a discerning ear, for, without fail, I will speak and lead you to a place of oasis and places of sustenance until I bring you into the promise. Realize My child that not all desert experiences are because of disobedience, some are just the route that must be followed to walk into My promise. Be careful that you do not end up walking in circles because you have chosen not to listen, not to follow, and not to drink of My life. Desert places can be deadly, and that is NOT My plan for you. Ex. 15:22, “So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.” NKJV
To everything there is a season, and I have commanded a new season for you! Just as there is a season of barrenness, it is now breaking forth into a season of new birth. It is time to stand and rise up out of the darkness of winter that sought to swallow you and allow your light to shine, for as your light shines, so Mine will shine forth out of you, yes, even My glory. Forget that which is the past and embrace the future that I have for you in Me. As you step out in faith, not knowing where I am taking you, I will show you step-by-step what you are to do. I will bring divine connections, people that will support and treasure you, as you walk into My new purposes during this new time. Look closely, My child – your spring is breaking forth! Eccl. 3:1, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” NKJV
When everything that seems to have been supporting you falls away, crumbling under the weight of this life, you will see the cross, standing firm and unshakeable before you. The cross – the one beam upon which the entirety of life can be centered. Still rough to the touch, ugly, offensive, and soaked with My blood, it stands as the point of decision. It is the place where life and death hang in the balance. Those who turn their backs to death, and those who embrace it to resurrected life. As the smoke from this crash clears, the cross remains, and you are faced once more with a choice. My child, choose life. Choose Me and allow your life to be rebuilt by Me as a testimony to the covenant relationship we have one with another. Having shared in the fellowship of My suffering, enter now into the power of My resurrection. I Cor. 1:18, “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” NKJV
I smile not to belittle your pain, but because I know what is past it. This is temporary, My child, and you must allow Me to walk you through it. I know all else seems to have grown unimportant in the light of what you are experiencing, but nothing new is birthed without pain, the proving ground of your faith. Though you have been enduring long and laborious birth pains, even now I am holding your hand, telling you to push. As you push, I will catch that which I placed inside of you, and it will grow and thrive. All of the hopes and dreams you have held within your heart will not have been for naught but will mature to bring Me glory. My hand is strong enough to withstand your squeeze. My heart holds your tears. You will dance again, but for now, PUSH! The head is crowning, and your time has come! John 16:21, “Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.” NASB
Contend for the prize that is incorruptible. Do not fear. What you see with your eyes is not what I am doing in the realm around you. Even as you have stood faithfully for Me, I am moving mightily for you. Do not let what you see and hear deceive or depress you. You have the Great I AM as your covering, perfecting all that concerns you. Strengthen yourself in Me. You are an overcomer, and I AM your exceedingly great reward! I Cor. 9:25-27, “And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” NKJV
