1/6/2017 Daily Word

Your life is not made up of your best moments alone or defined by what you choose to “share” with others.  From the moment of conception, your life has been made up of a series of choices – some of which were made for you, most of which you’ve made yourself.  But even when every choice is added up, including the good and the bad, the one’s I’ve applauded and the ones that have caused Me grief, I find your life beautiful.  Your life is worth hiding within My own.  Never question the sanctity of your own life.  You are worth My intervention, even to the cross.  My Precious One, I hold you in the palm of My hand, and I will not let you go.  Ps. 139:16-18a, “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.  How precious toward me are your thoughts, O God!  How vast is the sum of them!  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.”

1/5/2017 Daily Word

I want you to treasure your time with Me.  Intimacy isn’t characterized by obligation, rather it is a willing choice to be with the One to whom your heart is drawn.  My heart is revealed to those to whom I can entrust it, not to those who would make Me a one-night stand.  Plans and purposes are shared in the quiet of companionship, not in superfluous servitude.  My love for you knows no bounds, and My desire is for you to step into its fullness.  I am jealous that you set Me as the seal upon your heart above all else, even as you are held within Mine.  There is so much more I have for you.  Song of Songs 8:6-7, “Set me like a seal on your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, passion as cruel as Sh’ol; its flashes are flashes of fire, [as fierce as the] flame of the LORD.  No amount of water can quench love, torrents cannot drown it.  If someone gave all the wealth in his house for love, he would gain only utter contempt.”

Ready yourself for action!  Begin to speak out the things that have lain dormant in your heart.  Declare out the desires that I put there long ago; those things that you thought were dead, but yet have a place in your eternal destiny.  Speak what I tell you to speak, and act as I tell you to act, for I am preparing to open doors that you haven’t noticed before, and you must be ready to walk through them.  Prepare yourself for the appointments that I have made on your behalf.  Walk according to the Spirit, for the enemy will seek to circumvent what I am going to do in and through you, but know that I will not allow it.  I have spoken My Word over and into your life, and it will not return unfulfilled.  Get ready – your time is near!  I Cor. 16:13-14, “Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, grow strong.  Let everything you do be done in love.”

1/3/2017 Daily Word

Purge those things in your life that are not of Me.  Purging is a conscious, deliberate act to eliminate those things that are toxic to your being and hinder your spiritual progress – unbelief, rebellion, malice, slander, unproductive habits, attitudes, and ways of thinking.  It must be your choice to expel the flesh in your daily living so that My Kingdom can be established in you.  My Spirit is your helper, not your enforcer.  He will convict, support, and enable, but you must make the effort.  As you rid yourself of what is fleshly, replace it with what is spiritually sound and encouraging to your spirit being – faith, trust, love, peace, long-suffering.  As the seeds of the Spirit take root, they will grow into noticeable fruit that mark you as Mine and empower you to endure.  You will also discover that those promises which once seemed elusive are suddenly manifested because you’ve taken careful inventory of your life and chosen to crucify the flesh.  Those that lay down their life, will find it.  Matt. 16:23-25, “Get behind Me, Satan!  You are an obstacle in My path, because your thinking is from a human perspective, and not from God’s perspective…If anyone wants to come after Me, let him say ‘No’ to himself, take up his cross, and keep following Me.  For whoever wants to save his own life will destroy it, but whoever destroys his life for My sake will find it.”

1/2/2017 Daily Word

Be persistent as you pursue the establishment of My Kingdom in your life, home, and community.  There are many plans and purposes that I have for you that can only be worked out in the context of Kingdom living, and there are many things that are mere distractions that seek to prevent you from residing in a place of peace.  One way in which you can ascertain the establishment of My Kingdom is whether your life is characterized by righteousness, peace, and joy in My Spirit.  These three are fundamental, and will be the first of what the enemy attempts to steal from you in an effort to prevent you from being a Kingdom person.  Be resolute, remembering that all things are added to those who seek first the Kingdom. Matt. 6:33, “But seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

12/30/2016 Daily Word

Your physical man was meant to reproduce.  As a single cell, you divided and multiplied over and over again.  Likewise, your spirit man was meant to reproduce.  In this coming season, as you become One with Me, seek to see the fruit developed in you multiply exponentially in your life, your home, your church, your community, so that others, too, will seek Me.  Full maturity comes through the process of reproduction.  Your spiritual life began as a seed, but just as in the physical, the spiritual must grow to prevent aborted purposes in My plan for your life, and just as I formed you physically, I am forming you spiritually for the destiny I designed for you before the foundations of the earth.  Jer. 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I separated you for Myself.”  Eph. 4:13-16a, “We will arrive at the unity implied by trusting and knowing the Son of God, at full manhood, at the standard of maturity set by the Messiah’s perfection.  We will no longer be infants tossed about by the waves and blown along by every wind of teaching, at the mercy of people clever in devising ways to deceive.  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in every respect grow up into Him who is the head, the Messiah.  Under His control.”

12/29/2016 Daily Word

Walk into this new season with hope.  As you do, you will discover that peace and joy are your portion, and that faith will arise within you.  Faith is exercised in hope.  Without it, faith ceases to exist.  Do not allow the enemy to wreak havoc with your emotions, stealing the gifts I gave you.  Rather walk confidently in My love for you, and let My love inspire and ignite hope that enables you to fly above earthly circumstances on wings of faith.  Rom. 15:13, “May God, the source of hope, fill you completely with joy and shalom as you continue trusting, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may overflow with hope.”

12/28/2016 Daily Word

There is a fullness to be experienced and lived out in Me.  Seek to be filled, but more so to be full. This is My desire not just for you, but for My church.  Just as there is a fullness in times and cycles, so there is a fullness to be realized in each season.  In the fullness of time I came, full of grace and truth.  Love is the fullness of law, grace is the fullness of My Spirit, truth the plumb line by which they are measured – and all defined in Me.  Let your lives, My Church, be characterized by the same – grace, truth, and love, expressing My fullness to the world.  John 1:14, “The Word became a human being and lived with us, and we saw His Shekinah, the Shekinah of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth.”  Eph. 1:22-23, “Also, He has put all things under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church, which is His body, the full expression of Him who fills all creation.”

12/27/2016 Daily Word

Quickly!  That is how the answers will manifest themselves to your requests.  No longer will it seem as though iron doors and bronze gates stand in the way of answered prayer, but you will ask a thing and it will be done speedily.  You are entering a new season of an open heaven over your life.  Try Me in this, and see if it is not so.  There will be such an outpouring of My Spirit that when you ask in My Name it will be done for you by My Father.  Do not interpret this season as one without trials.  Trials will come and with great ferocity, but as quickly as they come, the answer will manifest itself and you will see great victories because you have entered this new season, says the Lord.  John 16:23-27, “When that day comes, you won’t ask anything of Me!  Yes, indeed!  I tell you that whatever you ask from the Father, He will give you in My Name.  Till now you haven’t asked for anything in My Name.  Keep asking, and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.  I have said these things to you with the help of illustrations; however, a time is coming when I will no longer speak indirectly but will talk about the Father in plain language.  When that day comes, you will ask in My Name.  I am not telling you that I will pray to the Father on your behalf, for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God.”

12/26/2016 Daily Word

I know you’re battle-weary.  I’ve seen both the seeming victories and defeats, and I see your face turned toward Me in supplication.  Know that I have heard the longing of your spirit and I am even now releasing ministering angels to bring relief to you in your time of need.  It seems to you as though I have been a long way off, but I have been and will remain ever at your side.  Did I not promise to never leave or forsake you?  Lift up your eyes and remember from whence comes your help.  Your help comes from Me – Maker of heaven and earth.  The God who is, and will ever be, everything for you, and I am the One who even now is hiding you under the shadow of My wings.  Do not fear, you are safe.    Isaiah 46:3b-5, “I have borne you from birth, carried you since the womb.  Till your old age I will be the same – I will carry you until your hair is white.  I have made you, and I will bear you; yes, I will carry and save you.  To whom will you liken and equate Me?  With whom will you compare Me, as if we were similar?”
