Do you feel imprisoned by circumstances beyond your control?  Know that the very situation that has held you captive, I will use to bring about deliverance not only in your life, but in the lives of others.  Surrender your own plans and dreams (that which is dear to you), and I will see that you are recompensed many times over that which you have given to Me. Wait for Me and learn to thrive in the place where you are, and I will bless you there, but I will also raise you up and bring you out in victory. In due time the dreams that have been held captive along with you will be released suddenly, and you will be brought out into a place of honor. Gen. 45:5, 7-8, “Don’t be sad that you sold me into slavery here or angry at yourselves, because it was God who sent me ahead of you to preserve life.  God sent me ahead of you to ensure that you will have descendants on the earth and to save your lives in a great deliverance.  So it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, lord of all his household and ruler over the whole land of Egypt.”

There are dreams held within your heart – dreams that I placed there.  You feel like they must be wishful thinking because so much time has passed, but know this:  I placed the dreams within you and I will cause them to come to pass in My way, in My time.  There were people I put in your path that you thought could help catapult your dream, but they have forgotten you. Don’t despair, for the very same people who forgot you are the same people I will cause to remember you and the dream I’ve placed within you will come to fruition unexpectedly, positioning you in a place far greater than you imagined for My purposes and for My glory, says the Lord.  Gen. 40,23, 41:9, “The chief cupbearer didn’t remember Joseph, but forgot him…then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, ‘Today reminds me of something wherein I am at fault.’”

I have heard you in the night hour, when you cried out to Me and lifted your hands in desperation unto Me.  I AM your strength and shield in this hour, and I AM your strength.  I will show you the way in which you should go, and I will deal strongly with the enemy that has attempted to thwart My plans for your life.  Trust Me, that even though the way is fraught with trouble, I will shepherd you through it and have mercy on you, even as you have asked, because I delight in you, says the Lord.  Ps. 28:6-9, “Blessed by ADONAI, for he heard my voice as I prayed for mercy.  ADONAI is my strength and shield; in Him my heart trusted, and I have been helped.  Therefore, my heart is filled with joy, and I will sing praises to Him.  ADONAI is strength for [His people], a stronghold of salvation to His anointed.  Save your people!  Bless your heritage!  Shepherd them, and carry them forever!”

The same Word that I spoke over you when I called you is the same Word working itself within you today.  I have not changed My Word concerning your life despite what you see and feel in the moment.  Just as I AM the unchanging God, My Word, too, is invariable.  My Word is even now standing as a sentinel over your life, refusing to be shaken from its assignment, though the enemy try his hardest. Hold fast and continue in the Word I have given you, and do not doubt, for it is an active, living, penetrating Word with the power to bring change in your life and your situation.    John 8:31, “Then Jesus said to those Jews which believed on Him, ‘If ye continue in My Word, then ye are My disciples indeed.”

With whose staff do you walk this road?  Are you under My staff, or have you taken My love and retained your own authority?  Have you tried to enter into My promise on your own?  Those who dwell with Me, dwell safely, in a place of completeness.  Those who choose to confront life on their own terms are divided within themselves.  Would you be unsure of your future and walk in fear?  Or would you know that you are hidden safely with Me?  Surrender your staff to Me, and allow Me to be your Guiding Light.  Let Me secure your future and bring wholeness to every aspect of your being.  This life, however, begins at the place of surrender – the place where you willingly exchange your own staff for Mine.  Gen. 32:11-12a, “I’m not worthy of all the love and faithfulness You have shown Your servant, since I crossed the Jordan with only my staff.  But now I have become two camps.  Please!  Rescue me.”

Dare to be who I have called you to be.  Operate from a position of faith that I have given you all things, both within and without, to accomplish what I have asked of you, rather than from fear of being insufficient.  Step forth into all I have for you.  For I created you with purpose for such a time as this.  Yes, there are traits that must be refined – but this I will do lovingly and in My timing.  As you step forth, have confidence in Me – the One who called you – for I am faithful, and people will be drawn to Me in you.  As you step forth, know that it is towards victory and not defeat, as a Child of the Most High God. 2 Peter 1:3-4, “God’s power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, through our knowing the One who called us to His own glory and goodness.  By these He has given us valuable and superlatively great promises, so that through them you might come to share in God’s nature and escape the corruption which evil desires have brought into the world.”

Put aside unbelief and get up and move!  Move yourself from a position of unbelief to belief; from discouragement to encouragement.  These are the things you must do to position yourself for what I will do.  Yes, My Spirit is willing and able to help you in this move, but you must be decisive and unwavering.  You must decide whether My Word is worth trusting.  Have I not always done everything according to My Word?  Choose to share in it by positioning yourself to receive, and arrive at the place where you, too, can say, “Be it unto me according to YOUR WORD!” And My life-giving Word will bear the fruit you’ve awaited so long.  James 1:6-7, “Let him ask in trust, doubting nothing; for the doubter is like a wave in the sea being tossed and driven by the wind.  Indeed that person should not think that he will receive anything from the Lord, because he is double-minded, unstable in all his ways.”

I am even now pouring out a greater anointing and fresh revelation upon My people so you can fulfill My purposes.  Listen carefully and be quick to obey for I will put thoughts in your head that you wonder at and even want to ignore.  But don’t.  If you will listen to My voice, I will reveal strategies for taking back what the enemy has stolen, and not only take back, but substantially advance past the powers of darkness.  My sheep hear My voice, and you must follow it immediately and not allow the opportunity to pass.  Even those things that may be considered “secular,” I will use the very same ideas to bring disciples into My Kingdom.  Listen and obey.  Get on your armor – you’re going forth in power to retake the land!  Joel 2:21, “Fear not, o land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.”

3/23/2017 Daily Word

Take time to enjoy the beauty of all I have entrusted to your care, particularly the relationships I have given you.  Don’t focus on what is wrong in this world – it’s fallen, and evil abounds.  Yes, reach out, but don’t live in dismay because of it. I have brought people into your life to enrich it and bring you joy. Take the time to rejoice in the abundant life I have provided for you and the fact that I am the God who brings forth beauty from ashes -who not only supplies your every need, but also a surplus.  All because I delight in doing good things for My children. Be joyful in life and let it stand as a testimony to My work in you.  Phil. 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, Rejoice.”

Your birthright as My child is your spiritual authority in Me; your blessing the double portion.  Esau did not recognize the value of ruling his father’s house because at the time he did not need to exercise it.  He sold his authority for stew!   Do not barter your birthright simply because you have not yet walked into it.  Guard it jealously, for a day will come that you will need to rule, and find you can’t, and when you want the blessing in lieu of responsibility, you won’t receive. Be careful, for such are the times of deception in which you live, that the enemy will attempt to convince you to turn over to him that which I’ve placed in your hands. I granted you authority, but you must choose to walk in it, and it is My desire that you have the wherewithal to do it well.  Gen. 27:36, “Esau said, ‘His name, Jacob [he supplants], really suits him – because he has supplanted me these two times; he took away my birthright, and here, now he has taken away my blessing!”
